My absolute favourite hotel in Singapore! The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the vibe is unparalleled - we had so much fun hanging out and chatting with the staff, trying the whiskey flights, and listening to the jazz at the club. We stayed in the suite and it was worth every penny! I had the best sleep of my life, and enjoyed a dip (or two) in the tub. I'd also like to thank Jennifer for her service - she was a true jem and made our trip feel so easy and relaxing. Thank you for making our little getaway so memorable! We will definitely be returning!
Stayed at The Vagabond Club Singapore and was pleasantly surprised. The location is right on the edge of Little India—close to two MRT lines, but not directly connected, which can feel a bit inconvenient. It’s a very small boutique hotel with a bold, unusual design—definitely different from the typical Singapore hotel style. Not for everyone, but I found it fun and full of character. Despite the size, it never felt crowded. My room layout was unusual (bed right at the entrance, then a corridor with desk leading to the bathroom), but it actually worked well. Room size is decent, not large. Staff were genuinely friendly and engaging throughout the stay. Breakfast is à la carte—good for a couple of days, though it might feel repetitive over a longer stay. There’s a small club lounge concept (access included in my rate), more like a light bites selection than a full lounge offering. Rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, but walls are quite thin—you may hear neighbors. Also worth noting: no gym or pool. Overall, a charming boutique option if you value design and atmosphere over facilities.
I very much enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are small but completely adequate in every way. Clean, quiet and very comfortable, with genuinely friendly staff as well. The hotel is located in a lively, safe, Singapore-authentic neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars, and fairly easy access to two different MRT lines. Prices are modest and fair for the area; I highly recommend it and would gladly stay here again.
I have to thank the amazing staff at the Vagabond Club hotel. We arrived after a 16 hour flight from Canada at 6am. The lovely Jennifer was amazing! She got us each a cappuccino, took our bags, gave us maps and information of what’s around the area. We went for a walk and had a bite to eat. When we arrived back at 9 am she had our room ready for us! Then we met Gabriel during the day shifts. He also was super helpful on transportation, things to see. We had great chats. We also met the head of the kitchen area, he made us a to go breakfast for 4am and Gabriel made us cappuccino’s!! Super grateful! The rooms were nice, clean and a comfortable bed. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! We only had to eat breakfast and supper with the amount of food we were given. It’s in a great location to see and experience so much! Thank you for the great hospitality!
We had a fabulous stay at the Vagabond. It is a small, boutique hotel with lots of interesting art and a lot of class. The service was impeccable!! Victoria, the manager, stopped by to check on us every morning at breakfast. She is a very professional, personable woman and represents the hotel and Marriott at the highest level. On our last morning there, Victoria and Aarti got us a taxi and made sure we were on our way to the cruise port easily. Everyone at the front desk was polite, friendly and personable. They were all very helpful when we asked questions about what to do and getting around Singapore. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we ever return to Singapore. Thank you for an excellent stay.
